The Lone Soldier Thanksgiving Gala Dinner is fast approaching. This is a
unique event organized by different communities in Israel to provide a
festive and celebratory Thanksgiving dinner (with all of the trimmings)
for over one thousand chayalim bodedim from North America (US citizens
who have volunteered to serve in the IDF). At this time of year, many of
our precious chayalim are acutely missing their families, and this special
program gives them a little “taste from the Old Country.” Let's honor their
unique service to our People and to our Land – and especially the chayalim
bodedim from Baltimore – by helping Baltimore reach its fundraising goal
of $2500 to offset the significant costs of this evening. Please click on
