Dear Readers

© By WWW

You’ve probably noticed that Rebbetzin Chana Weinberg’s popular “Shalom Bayis” column is missing for the second month in a row. Our dear Rebbetzin Weinberg flew to Australia to enjoy Pesach with her children. There, she fell on Shabbos Hagadol and has been laid up ever since with fractures of the hip and ribs. Fortunately, after much rehabilitation therapy in Melbourne, she was able to fly home and is continuing her rehab and recovery in Baltimore. We are happy that things are looking up for her now, and hope that she will soon return to her activities and, of course, to her column. (Please continue to send your questions.) After all, what would the WWW be without our “fourth W” – Rebbetzin Weinberg!

The other big Where What When news is our redesign. (“It’s about time,” you say?) It is about time! Did you know that we are 21 years old? Enough years for a baby to be born and reach adulthood. A magazine, too, has its stages of growth. We’ve been around a long time in Baltimore; we’ve come a long way with you, our readers. You’ve told us you love us; you’ve tolerated our gaffes; and you’ve occasionally given us a piece of your mind. Through it all, we have celebrated our community’s successes and lamented its problems, together, and we believe we have earned a place of trust in your heart.

As we enter our 22nd year, we look forward to being your community magazine for another 21 years and more – either here or in Eretz Yisrael! Underneath the changes, our goal remains the same: creating an interactive magazine that informs, educates, and entertains. In our essence, we remain connected to you, the reader – because we are a community.

An enjoyable summer to all, from the WWW!
